§ I. General Provisions
- The service is provided by LOOKmedia Limited Liability Company, having its registered office in Warsaw, address: Chlodna Str. 2/18, 00-891 Warsaw, Poland, entered in the register of businesses conducted by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, XIX Commercial Division of the National Register Court, under KRS number 0000175180, hereinafter referred to as the Publisher.
- The provided service is available for natural and legal persons as well as for organizations without legal personality, hereinafter referred to as the Users.
- Service means that the Publisher makes the electronic version of emakeup magazine available to the Users.
- To obtain access to a trial or paid issue of emakeup magazine or to use the interactive tools included in the magazine (competitions, surveys, comments, etc.), the Users shall be requested to provide their personal data by filling in an applicable form (or in another manner). The data requested from the Users in most cases will be their name, surname and e-mail address. While purchasing the magazine or paying for a subscription the Users will be asked for their full personal data. By giving their personal data the Users declare their right to dispose of it and that it is true. The Publisher is not responsible for the Users’ provision of the data to any third parties and for actions the data were used for.
- Using the trial issue of emakeup magazine and paying for the subscription thereof or purchasing a single issue of the magazine by the Users means conducting a binding agreement between the Users and the Publisher. It also means the acceptance of hereby Terms and Conditions and the terms of the Privacy Policy.
- Using the forms included on www.e-makeup.eu or available in emakeup magazine for uploading any content which violates the law or commonly accepted norms, i.e.:
- considered to be vulgar or insulting;
- containing materials protected by the intellectual property rights, without the author’s consent shall be forbidden.
- Other forms included on www.e-makeup.eu or in emakeup magazine provided therein for the Publisher’s clients are not subject to the Privacy Policy.
§ II. Copyrights
- The Publisher and his partners own the copyrights to the entire content of each issue of emakeup magazine (texts, designs, pictures, logos, drawings, training films, banners, software). Reproducing the materials, either in parts or in their entirety, and publically distributing them without the consent of the Publisher shall be forbidden.
- Emakeup magazine is accessible only through an authorized computer. The authorization is conducted by software designed especially to authorize the Users’ computer and for the proper installation of emakeup magazine.
§ III. Ordering and Using emakeup Magazine
- Ordering emakeup magazine includes ordering the trial issue of emakeup magazine or paying for a subscription or a single issue by using one of the forms placed on www.e-makeup.eu.
- While completing an order form the Users will be asked to give some personal data, most often their name, surname and e-mail address.
The Users are obliged to provide their correct e-mail address since the message containing the activation link for downloading the magazine will be automatically sent to the given e-mail address.
The Publisher shall not take responsibility for not completing a User’s order for a paid or trial issue of the magazine when the given e-mail address is incorrect.
As for the trial issue of emakeup magazine, the message containing the installation link will be sent automatically, and as for the paid issue it will be sent shortly after payment.
Full support of payments is assured by PayPal – a safe online payment service.

- When beginning the download process of emakeup magazine, the User also initiates an automated authorization of their computer.
When beginning the download of the magazine, the User will only be able to download and read it on the authorized computer. Therefore, before the User begins the installation process, they should be sure that they wish to have the magazine emakeup installed on the particular computer they're using at that time. If not, the User should wait until they are at the appropriate computer before beginning the process.
The Publisher shall not take responsibility for the accidental installation of emakeup magazine on an inappropriate computer or in the wrong place, e.g. at work.
- The technical specifications of equipment required for using emakeup magazine are the following:
- an Internet connection;
- a PC with a processor with a min. of 450 MHz and 128 MB RAM and one of the following operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista;
- 150 MB of free memory space on the hard disc. - The website and emakeup magazine are optimized to a resolution not lower than 1024 x 768 pixels.
- The Publisher shall not take responsibility for technical problems or technical limitations of the Users’ computer equipment which make using the services specified in § I. point 3 impossible.
§ IV. Complaints
- Any questions and complaints concerning payments for emakeup magazine shall be directed to the PayPal Customer Service Center.

Questions and complaints concerning technical problems connected with activating the subscription or a single issue of emakeup magazine after properly making the payment shall be immediately reported using form: Contact the administrator.
The complaint message shall include:
- name and surname;
- email address which the activation link for downloading the magazine or activating the subscription was sent to;
- a detailed description of the problem.
- The Publisher shall consider the complaint without unnecessary delay on a first-come, first-served basis, within 21 days from receiving it.
- The person who submitted the complaint shall be notified of the Publisher’s decision by an e-mail sent to the e-mail address specified in the complaint form.
- The Publisher’s decision concerning the complaint shall be final.
- The Publisher reserves the right not to investigate complaints and not to answer questions concerning purchasing or using emakeup magazine notified in manners other than by e-mail.
§ V. Privacy Policy
- Giving personal data is voluntary and enables executing orders and participating in competitions or using other interactive tools available in emakeup magazine.
- By giving their personal data the Users agree to have it stored and used by LOOKmedia Limited Liability Company, having its registered office in Warsaw, for executing orders and for marketing purposes. The Publisher undertakes not to transfer the Users’ personal data to any third parties.
- The Publisher reserves the right to send unannounced messages to persons whose contact data is in the Publisher’s possession and who have accepted the terms of the Privacy Policy.
- Entities appointing commercial mailing do not have access to the personal data of persons included on the mailing list of the Publisher.
- The Publisher reserves the right to collect surveys concerning the readers of emakeup magazine. This data will not be ascribed to any Users.
- The magazine also contains forms which give access to additional functions, e.g. submitting comments to articles, filling in surveys, and participating and voting in competitions. By filling in those forms the Users agree to process the information and content included therein. The way of using the information sent by the Users will be specified by each relevant form.
- The Publisher reserves the right to make adjustments to the Privacy Policy. Each User is subject to the currently binding Privacy Policy included on this website.
- The Users have the right to access and update their personal information. In order to do so, the Users shall send an e-mail to the technical customer service: Contact the administrator.
Unannounced messages include information connected directly with the Publisher’s activities, emakeup magazine, services and products (e.g. changes, internal promotions), infomercial letters (greetings, personal comments, etc.) and commercial information which was ordered and paid for by the Publisher’s clients.
The Publisher reserves the right to limit the possibility of correcting the content uploaded by the Users, in particular when it was included in previously distributed issues of the magazine.
§ VI. Cookies
- For purchasing an issue or using the trial issue of emakeup magazine it is required to fill in the forms placed on www.e-makeup.eu. The website www.e-makeup.eu may use a cookie file, which is a small text file sent to the Users’ computer. Cookie files are safe for computers and storage files.
- Switching off the cookie access to the computer does not make using emakeup magazine impossible.
§ VII. Final Provisions
- The hereby Terms and Conditions come into effect on 15 January 2008.
- The Publisher reserves the right to change the hereby Terms and Conditions at any time. The way of introducing a new version thereof is by placing it on the www.e-makeup.eu website. The new Terms and Conditions come into effect as of the day of publishing.
- The Publisher shall not take responsibility for violating any copyright or other rights of third parties by the Users.
- The Publisher shall not take responsibility for the inability to use the service resulting from:
- using an electronic device not adjusted to the technical requirements specified in these Terms and Conditions;
- lack of an Internet connection. - The Publisher shall not take responsibility for telecommunication services used by the Users.
- The Publisher shall not take responsibility for any failure in respect to payment procedures concerning the Users and the PayPal system.
- All disputes arising from conducting electronic services by the Publisher under these Terms and Conditions are subjected to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.
